网页2022年8月6日 · The supplies are more expensive per unit at hobby stores than actual candle supply stores, ($7 for HALF AN OUNCE of fragrance at Michaels when most candle supplies sell them for $2-$3 for ounce bottles) but things like wax, wicks, etc come in more 'proportioned' sizes for hobbiests. Dont go to hobby lobby though. Terrible place.

网页Aldi candles of various brands always seem to be good too. Oddly, Hobby Lobby candles are awful in just about every brand. They dont burn down evenly, the scents smell good in the store but like burning chemical waste once lit and ive had a few that the wicks spark while lit. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND HOBBY LOBBY CANDLES.

Butcher's shops/departments sometimes smell of bleach and sometimes like they really need to use some bleach and also chuck some meat out.
