I actually found a method that worked: fill the line drawing in Procreate so it becomes a black solid. import it in Illustrator, Image trace; Black&white logo. export as dwg. Import into sketchup. edit component and draw a small line in the drawing to turn it into a solid.

网页2016年6月3日 · I have the same issue - drawing top view, camera parallel projection ie effectively 2D. Mac 10.11 (just jumped up from 108.5 - same there) - on a Mac Mini. It is the ‘fill/face’ that blocks the view of the line/guide - delete this and you can see, but each time you draw a line of course you create a new fill/face.

If you’re working in fractional inches, set the units to Fractional and set the precision to 1/32 or 1/64. I prefer to work with precision at 1/64" because it makes it easier to find incorrect dimensions.
