For propane, you can use Type L copper with plastic sheath to protect from contact with lime in cement. Type L can also be direct buried or penetrate through walls, ceilings and floors.

The issue is metric sized pex (logstor) to inch size pex. I will have to contact logstor rep I guess. I think the fittings are gonna be around 25 each! 2015 Heatmaster G200.

The copper is a ring, the tool needs a gauge to calibrate it, and a special tool to remove the ring from a fitting. The stainless has a clip on it, is easily removed. The copper is cheaper than stainless. I can see insulation going over the copper easier.

If in fact you need to move 100,000 (10 gpm) and 180,000 BTU 18 gpm 1" would be the best choice. !-1/4 would be better yet for the 180,00 HX.
