The heater or A/C would cycle on and off at random times. Finally, one day while watching TV, I went to fiddle with the thermostat (once again) and felt a stream of hot air enveloping the thermostat.

网页2016年3月26日 · Posts. 1. I have a 2007 Fleetwood Discovery. The RV is equipped with 2 heat pumps and a furnace. The units cool fine. I am unable to turn the gas or electric heat on. The RVComfort thermostat will not switch to heat. Will installing a new thermostat fix the problem or are there other possibilities. Any help is greatly appreciated!

网页2010年5月26日 · Unplugging from shore power, turning off the battery switches, etc. have no effect -- when power is reapplied, it momentarily shows zone 1, a temp of 72, then switches to zone 2, and thereafter behaves as if there is nothing but zone 2. This is an RV Comfort.zc model 8330 thermostat attached to 2 heat pumps (A/C and heat on each) and 2 furnaces.

There are several models available and readily found on Amazon, ebay, and online RV suppliers as well as through local RV stores.

网页2010年1月3日 · To add to what Garry said, the manual (booklet) for the RV Comfort thermostat explains the interaction between the 3 components (A/C, heatpump and furnace) quite well, at least the one for the model 6535 or 6536 2 stage heatpump wall thermostat does. Similar info is given in the AC service manual for this unit. YYMV
