It rather carries a warning not to try bathing as around a dozen people had lost their lives there due to flash floods. However Lakkam Waterfalls is a place which i saw people bathing. You could give it a try.

If u have just one day u should try to stay nearby Munnar Town. There are hundreds of good resorts all around Munnar u can book depending on ur budget.
