There is public transport here! I got the bus number 17 from central Reykjavík to a bus stop called Mjood. From there you can get bus 51 or 52 all the way to the town. Really easy …

There is public transport here! I got the bus number 17 from central Reykjavík to a bus stop called Mjood. From there you can get bus 51 or 52 all the way to the town. Really easy to do and SO much cheaper than the tours. Run all hours of the day too :-)
