Hi, The time you travel is ok , it’s off season for water sports and the area is very quiet. The best hotel near Kumana National Park is Blue wave in Arugum Bay , very clean and friendly place. You could hire a 4 wheel drive vehicle , the hotel will arrange this for about 50.00 pounds sterling. It’s advisable to get a guide to go with you in to the Park ,not expensive. You are able to see variety of animals , if you are lucky , leopards as well. Have a great trip.
