Traveling from out of state. My kids are 1 (just walking), 3, 5 and 7. We have budgeted 3-5pm one day for North Pole and then returning the next day from 10-5pm (all day) since it is free to do so on the 2nd day. Is this overkill with the age group of my kids? The kids have done a similar amusement park (Tweetsie Railroad in NC) and they did spend all day there easily. I took a look at the list of the rides online already and just hard to judge. Also not sure if there will be long lines in early August.

There will be lots of walking and it is very hilly. Remember the elevation of about 7000 feet will be tiring. Avoid a stroller for the kids as the hills make it a tough day. I think your kids may tire out so the 2nd day can just be cut short when they get tired. There will be lots of rides geared for your kids ages so that is nice. Hard to tell about the crowds in late August. We had zero wait times at most rides. Several rides they just to our grand kids if you want another ride just stay in your seat. It is a wonderful place for kids. Have fun.

Yes, all October. $9 for active, retired, spouses and dependants. Everyone must have their military ID. Great place at a great savings. Over 60 to is free of charge.
