Immerse yourself in the wondrous world of dog mushing! After the bus ride to camp, you will board our 4x4 military vehicle for a wild ride up the mountain where you will be greeted by mushers and several ecstatic Alaskan huskies! Then enjoy a summer sled ride on our custom-built sleds, where you will cruise through the forest, being towed by these professional athletes. After, learn about the history of dog mushing and soak up some puppy love before perusing our gift shop and returning to town.

We are planning to do the Mushers Camp/Sled Dog Experience excursion when in Skagway next August. Three different times are offered & I am wondering if there is an advantage to any one of them over the others. Times offered are: 9am - 12:15pm, 11am - 2:15pm, or 1:30pm - 4:45pm.

We loved Skagway! We went in the afternoon, presentation is the same no matter what time you go. I wish we had went in the morning though and had more time to wander the town. Enjoy!

Sorry, not sure. Most excursions can be cancelled until 24 hours before hand. Ask your cruise line. I imagine that if they change ports or bad weather causes cancellations you would be …

Not likely - it’s unmarked from the road- and a little remote. One bicyclist wanting to do the same was turned away at the gate. But call and ask.
We live is Australia and have book a cruise in May 18. We are looking for a husky adventure on snow rather than the training ground on wheels. What sort of cost are we looking at and how long is the tour.

This excursion is not on snow, it's on wheels. I THINK to get snow you likely have to do one of the excursions on the glaciers.
