I have not done the Indiana Dunes, but love the steepness of some of these dunes as well as the height to climb. Sometimes there are outcroppings of clay that may be difficult to get back over, so use caution when going down some of these areas. The main dune climb has plenty of high and low, steep and gradual climbs, if you get off the main trails. Love this area and go every year!
