We stayed in Zlatibor where there are many hotels and holiday homes to choose from but it's about an hour and a quarter drive to Lake Zaorvine in the heart of Tara park. If you want to be closer then I believe that there is a hotel in Perucac which is a village in the valley below Tara and is about half an hour drive from the Lake. There are also many holiday rentals around Perucac and Bajina Basta which are available online.

You can visit it in December, although it will probably be very cold, so prepare yourself. :) I think that you can visit (mountain) Kopaonik, where you can ski . :)
Hi! I'm going to Serbia in a month for 5 days, 2 of which will be in Belgrade, and I'd like to spend 2 days in a national park or preferably some place scenic. Unfortunately, I don't drive so I would perhaps take the bus which would stop at Tara, Hotel Omorika according to balkanviator website I'm not sure without a car if it's possible to get around to any cottages as they all seem quite a bit of a walk (min. 4-5 km) from Tara, Hotel Omorika. Would there be any local buses around as I can't find any information on transportation with Tara? If Tara is not an option for me then could you please suggest one that could be? Thanks for your help in advance!
