At the current time the Zika virus has not been reported from the Bahamas so any location you visit should be considered safe. February is a good time to visit as it is the dry season and mosquitoes are much less common

If you are traveling with Princess Cays cruise line they offer a tour to the Preserve. This would be your best option.
