The Huon Valley has an amazing amount to do. You may be interested in driving to the 'end of the road' (Cockle Creek -- Southwest National Park), enjoying short walks there or simply taking in the beautiful scenery. Or visiting Hartz Mountains National Park near Geeveston. Yukon offers a lovely trip down the Huon River, or the Huon Jetboats offer a thrill seeking ride further up the Huon River. There are a number of wineries and cider businesses in the area too.

You may be able to split the party so some go to the cave while others wait for the next tour
Hi , are the steps very slippery inside the cave ? I will be 5 month pregnant when I go to Tasmania and wonder if I should do this or not . Thanks

There are a few places where water actually drips down onto the path and a couple tight squeezes. So if you really really wanted to go I’d recommend good grippy shoes.
