There isn't a playground but as others said, there is a lot of space for roaming. Since some animals roam freely I would keep an eye on little ones but I did notice some birds being chased by toddlers and they seemed used to it, they just walked under picnic tables, etc.

I would ring the park directly this week as the koalas may be suffering heat stress due to extremely hot weather. We visited in September and the wait time was only a few minutes, it was a beautiful experience and the handlers are amazing with them. Kevin the koala is awesome!

Our ship arrives in port at 11 a.m. - I don't know how close the port is to Gorge Wildlife Park but I am guessing if the only opportunity to hold a koala is at 11:30 we will not have time to get off the ship and get to your "park". Please let me know how far park is from the port in Adelaide. Thank you
