Chennai, Sep 23 (PTI) 'Seizing' Raja, a proclaimed offender who was arrested from neighbouring Andhra Pradesh, was shot dead here on Monday after he attempted to flee from custody by opening fire on them, police said.

A notorious criminal known as Seizing Raja, whose real name is Raja, was shot dead in a police encounter in Akkarai, Chennai on September 23. The incident has drawn significant attention, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.
