Channel 7 has axed its Gold Coast news bulletin in a massive shake-up which means the final broadcast will be this Thursday.

Channel 7 will air its nightly Gold Coast 7News television bulletin for the last time this Thursday, with Australia's largest media union calling the decision a "betrayal to its audience".
