Danish firm DFDS is in the mix to run ferry services to and from Jersey for 15 years from March. The firm had tendered to run ferry services in Guernsey but the island instead chose Brittany Ferries.
DFDS' Head of Ferry Division says that the company is in "solid financial health" and has the capacity to provide Jersey with a "safe, reliable and efficient ferry service" and "appropriate fleet".
