Congressional District 45: Democratic challenger Derek Tran and Republican Rep. Michelle Steel remained in a dead heat at 50% each on Monday. Though their vote percentages were the same, Tran led by 102 votes — widening his lead by another 66 votes since the weekend. On Monday, Tran had 153,824 votes while Steel had 153,722 votes.

It takes 218 seats to have a majority in the House, which Republicans crossed last week. The GOP has currently 218 seats to Democrats’ 213, with four races still uncalled. More on that below.
