SAVE $350: As of Oct. 10, the Google Pixel 8 Pro is on sale for $649 at Amazon. That's a saving of 35% on list price. Prime Day is a great excuse to upgrade your phone and save some money, and there's a handful of deals still live after the event.

The Pixel 8 Pro might not be Google's latest smartphone, but it's still a great buy in 2024. With an excellent trio of lenses, a bright 6.7-inch display, and plenty of AI features, this could be the steal of Prime Day at just $600.

October 9th update: Google has responded to Amazon’s Prime Day sale with its own discounts. The Pixel 8a has been discounted by $50, bringing it down to $449. There are also enhanced trade-in prices, which includes $135 for the Pixel 6a and a maximum value of $400 if the Pixel 7 Pro is handed over. Obviously this wouldn’t be a good trade to make.

Motorola Edge 2024: was $549 now $349 @ Amazon There's a lot to love about the Motorola Edge 2024, even more when it's down to $349 for Prime Day. Don't let its generic looks fool you because it packs a lot of exquisite qualities, like its 6.6-inch OLED display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, dual cameras and super fast 68W wired charging.

The entry-level Pixel 8 might not get the same attention that the Pixel 9 does, but it still has some impressive specs, and right now it's nearly $200 off at Amazon.

I updated the Pixel 8a to the Android 15 Beta in mid-August, so some of the issues I've encountered might not affect users on a stable release. That said, Android 15 has been fairly stable during my usage.
