Based on the classic 1994 animated film of the same name, The Lion King follows Simba, the heir of the mighty Mufasa, who finds himself usurped of the throne and exiled by his evil uncle Scar.

Dazzling animation sparks this Disney feature about a lion cub's journey to adulthood and acceptance of his royal destiny. Simba begins life as an honoured prince, the son of the powerful King Mufasa.

In the original film, Simba was tricked into thinking he killed his father, a guilt ridden lion cub flees into exile and abandons his identity as the future King.
