A California farm in Bakersfield has voluntarily recalled organic carrots sold at Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s and other grocery stores following 15 hospitalizations and one death linked to an E. coli outbreak,

Grimmway Farms recalls organic carrots due to an E. coli outbreak affecting numerous states, with one death reported.

So far, there have been 39 illnesses and at least one death in connection with the outbreak reported in over a dozen states.
