Meta has announced an update for Ray-Ban Meta that brings real-time AI video to the glasses, a feature the company first demoed in the fall.

Meta's Ray-Ban glasses are getting smarter thanks to an update that's introducing three features, including new AI functionality. In an announcement this week, Meta said the features are coming soon to its smart glasses.

A new update rolling out to Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, v11, which brings a few new options. That includes Shazam integraiton, which will allow users to ask the glasses “Hey Meta, what is this song” and then have the result read aloud.

We were rather impressed with the 2nd gen Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses when we reviewed them, but thanks to Meta AI they’ve got steadily better over time. Even something as mundane as grocery shopping can be transformed with the AI implementation if you’re wearing them.
