Currently, T-Mobile is passing regulatory scrutiny over the $4.4 billion purchase of US Cellular’s stores, customers, and cellular network. The carrier, however, kept nearly 70% of its spectrum holdings and is now selling them to the highest bidder.

The first point this service—once known as one of Sprint’s prepaid brands—makes: its 5G network "now covers more than 70% of the US population, with coverage across 99% of the country via roaming partners," meaning AT&T and T-Mobile.

Boost Mobile has stepped out of the shadow of the big carriers and officially upgraded from an MVNO to a full carrier, with its 5G network now covering a large chunk of the U.S.
