Vistara, a joint venture between Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, will merge with Air India, which is also owned by Tata Group. This merger comes after Tata Group acquired Air India in 2022.
Air India has announced that Vistara flights will switch to the 'AI2' flight code following the airlines' merger. Post-merger, Singapore Airlines will hold a 25.1% stake in Tata Group-owned Air India.
