The Sakura Miku Nendoroid first released back in 2015 will return, with the Hatsune Miku figure coming back in 2026.

Her first attempts, made from her grandmother’s ancient kimono, involved stitching a strip of the silk material onto a backing of thin cloth she had purchased at a handicraft store.

The kimono is the most famous garment worn in Japan. Kimono literally means “thing to wear” – it is made up of the Japanese words ki, meaning “to wear”, and mono, meaning “thing”.
