Individual surface materials? - KeyShot Forum
2016年3月31日 · Within KeyShot 6, are you able to add a different material/texture to a single surface without the model being set up this way in the original modeling software? Having this feature would save me so much time during my work day and would completely eliminate having to open and manipulate the extremely large files I am frequently given to work with.

Not all components in an assembly showing up in Keyshot
2012年8月23日 · I recently opened a Solid Edge assembly in Keyshot and noticed not all of the parts are showing up. I checked the tree in Keyshot and the items just aren't there. I also opened up the file a couple of times with the same results. The items in Solid Edge are nothing out of the ordinary. Any ideas? I'm running Solid Edge ST4 and Keyshot 3 64 bit ...

2015年12月14日 · Try leaving it in perspective, and select the right-front corner as the target for the camera "look at" point. Be sure to click Done. Then see if you can zoom, etc. If you can't, there is something strange going on that the KeyShot team should look at. Bill G Setting the Camera > "Look at" Point solved my problem completely. 2018年2月22日 · It will let me resize it larger but I can't make it any narrower. Only restarting Keyshot fixes it. Undocking the Project tab doesn't resolve it; the window is still stuck at the large width and can't be made narrower. Anyone else have this …
Rendering particles and volumetric lighting effects, grass material
2013年8月29日 · Just something that I know fellow Keyshot users have talked about. Rendering particles would be amazing and grass material is something we can use! I put volumetric lighting on the list because the effect is in demand. I have a feeling Keyshot will have these features in the future but developers just need more time.

2015年2月14日 · completely new to Keyshot, but have been playing with rendering in Blender / Cycles. I have some fairly simple needs at present. I will take photos of walls, patio areas, etc and put "virtual products" in these photos. So the first thing I need is an invisible shadow catcher plane. From first looks I see KS has a ground plane that can do this.
