2022年3月9日 · It’s way better for you to go to a tattoo/piercing shop over Ulta/Claire’s. Piercing guns can cause damage and increase the likelihood of your piercing getting infected. Sure it’s gonna be more expensive to go to a tattoo/piercing shop but honestly when it comes to your body you need to give it the best treatment that you possibly can.

Besides tattoo shops, I don't think most places allow their employees to accept tips from what I understand. Kind of like how our beauty advisors can't accept them. Places I know of are Claire's, Piercing Pagoda, Kays, 5below ...

Ended up not applying. I’m a licensed full specialist, they don’t teach us to pierce people in beauty school. And I’m especially not doing it with a piercing gun.

2023年7月16日 · Please go to a licensed piercer, ulta literally has an earring type that we had to send back (the heart shaped one) because the earring wasnt long enough to pierce through the ear, so the woman was crying because part of the gun was stuck on the ear and the earring only went halfway through. It was a nightmare.

2023年3月14日 · A piercing gun is not a sanitary or safe way to pierce. It never has been and it never will be. The only safe piercing is from a piercing professional with sterile and proper equipment like hollow needles, and sterilized jewelry. Ulta is just money grabbing at this point.

2023年3月23日 · How much money does it even make? Ear piercing is so easy and cheap now that you can pierce yourself hundreds of times by just buying a piercing gadget at Amazon. It’s like $7. I also can’t imagine going to a cosmetics store for ear piercing? Maybe it’s just me but I wouldn’t trust makeup store people to stab holes in my body parts 😂
