Warmoth vs competitors for non-Fender necks/bodies?

Example, you can get 24.75 scale on a single action truss rod (at warmoth this is only possible on their "modern" neck, which has double action truss rod). Musikraft rolls fretboard edges. For that reason, if you plan to get a neck with maple fretboard, I'd recommend musikraft.

2017年4月25日 — In my personal experience, Warmoth makes some very nice products. The 2 guitars I gig with (not counting the Gretsch - don't try to build one of those on your own!) are Warmoth. Well, one is a highway one tele body with a Warmoth roasted maple neck. The other is a Warmoth tele thinline. Both came out amazingly well.

Sep 21, 2020. #3. If you are concerned with weight then don't go with Allparts. Great bodies but the weight can be all over the place. Guitar Mill are good but will have the gap a little larger on the pickguard/lower bout of body. Warmoth is good and you can see the weight and the grain with the pics on their site.

Oct 23, 2016. #1. Fender USA maple necks are $499. Good quality construction, I would assume. Finished in polyurethane gloss. Fender knows how to make necks, been doing it since the last millennium. Fender name on the headstock. But I can get a Warmoth Stratocaster replacement neck, licensed by Fender, for about $250.
The 7/8 Warmoth thread (just a little shorter and lighter)
2024年1月1日 — Warmoth makes 7/8 bodies (S-style and T-style) which are just a little smaller than their full size Strat and Tele cousins and these are meant to be paired with the Warmoth 7/8 Warhead necks which are 24.75" scale and with 24 frets. This for me really is the sweet spot (especially when paired with my favorite neck profile - Fatback).
