2020年1月16日 — there is no FreeCAD uninstaller in Windows start menu so I checked in Windows apps and features and this is using file called Uninstall-FreeCAD.exe I closed apps and features and started Uninstall-FreeCAD.exe from Windows explorer. All applications was closed when I run it. I did complete uninstall including user data.

2022年10月31日 — I just did a fresh install of version 0.20.1 on a Windows 10 PC and did a reboot after the install. When I start FreeCAD it immediately crashes. No startup screen, nothing. I looked in Eventviewer and discovered 4 appcrash events. I will upload these plus the report.wer file renamed to .txt. These are the specs of the PC:

I've been using the freeCad wiki learning how to use it by the lessons on youtube. i get to the part where you add wording to the chamfer block and go through all till i get to the part where you have to enter (full path to font file:)

2019年12月7日 — I was looking for a quick way to try out 0.19 under windows without going through a full build. This thread seems to the the one that pops up when searching for 0.19 on google. One thing I noticed which made life a lot easier is that the latest dev builds are released on chocolatey (which is a windows package manager)

But GitHub does not seem to offer any guidance as to which is likely to be the better choice, either for the newcomer to FreeCAD, or for the more experienced user.
