How scientifically valid is the Myers Briggs personality test?
2013年10月23日 · I'm tempted to assume the Myers Briggs personality test is complete hogwash because though the results of the test are more specific, it doesn't seem to be immune to the Barnum Effect. I know it's based off some respected Jungian theories but it seems like the holy grail of corporate team building and smells like a punch bowl.

2015年3月30日 · This makes it hard to defend a personality test such as the one Myers and Briggs developed, where the measured type would change in the middle. In other words, it's assuming a bimodal distribution when the measured scores follow a normal distribution. This goes to the validity of the test of course, not the reliability.
