They never touch coral, dont constantly fight like blue legs, and look awesome. Pretty much the perfect crab IMO. If only they ate bubble algae too.

2018年10月6日 · Ulva isn't deeply rooted, a single treatment area is likely to respond with low growback if it's not being fragment seeded from cleaning or grazing elsewhere in the tank. Rasp one area of the test rock ideally before peroxide app, so that if it does growback elsewhere you'll already have an inch or two that were tested for holdfast depth.

2022年7月25日 · Looking at that, there is no yellowing around the edges or center, so that eliminates most all of the micro elements. With that said, I suspect lack of nutrients are the cause. Usually ulva will shrink up, aka cells get tighter together, with a lot of light and lack of nutrients. Best course is to up that NO3 a little.

This algae is quite possibly the best algae to grow to reduce NO3. if there is a better algae for our needs then I have yet to encounter it. 7 days growth in my ATS 300 grammes. Yes, this much Ulva growth in just 7 days.

2019年8月27日 · 0 0 0. If you can take any of the rock out of the tank you can treat with hydrogen peroxide. I took out big rocks, coral and all and swiped all the Ulva with a q tip soaked in peroxide, avoiding the coral of course. Let the peroxide work for a few minutes and returned to tank.
