Apr 21, 2017 · Got 400 miles down the road and scaled it only to find out its 320lbs overweight on drives, and cant slide the tandems forward towards the tractor anymore. I normally always scale, this time I got lazy, I made a mistake, next time I am scaling near the shipper.

Dec 11, 2018 · 16,320lbs is all I'd load on her till you get a 30k ball & coupler to match. When that's accomplished you can load another 5k on the deck assuming you stay within the axle ratings, the registered weight, & the 25k GVWR of said trailer + GVWR of said truck. I think your looking at 38-39k lbs gross depending on what the truck says in the door jam..
