I've a question regarding a prototype AEG M7 SMG-ish I'm making. Due to the use of a V3 gearbox, I've had to use a custom 80mm inner barrel. A cut-down 6.02 ZCI yields 260 FPS/0.20g on an M120, to be expected but still a bit low for my purposes. Using a 120mm inner barrel brings it up to 280 FPS, however the extra 40mm is aesthetically a bit odd.

As far as the law goes, don't treat it any differently than you would any other gun. Legally, there's actually less risk with a fully diy gun than an 80% you would finish.

2021年1月23日 · 3d-printed or 80% build without any unique identifying marks is - for all intents and purposes - a ghost. If you buy every part cash and carry, maybe. Most people shop online and there will always be multiple records. Just ask Polymer80 customers. I personally have never seen rails for a 3d printed frame in a shop available for cash and carry.

2022年3月5日 · It's amazing how far the field has come so quickly. 3d printed firearms are perfectly functional of you print them right. Hell, if you do the paperwork and follow the rules, even 3d printed suppressors work. Most common accessories to print are probably aAR grips. I'd recommend checking out r/ctrlpew as well.
