2008年12月21日 · You can pad it with anything you like. Open cell foam is soft, the cheapest, and the easiest to find. Closed cell foam is very firm and Goes under the brand name Volara. Neoprene is the most expensive, and would be wasted padding a door panel. Check out this thread for how to glue the fabric to the panel.

2005年11月16日 · Use the 1/4" foam for your pleats. Cut 1/4" "V" cuts into the foam. Just play with a small panel before you do the main panels. You should be ok use'n two PVC boards for each panel like you said. Make sure to let the gule set up utill it kinda feels dry to the touch. I use leather 99.9% of the time.

Notice the relief cuts at all four corners where the excess fabric has been cut away before gluing the fabric down.

We don't want vinyl but rather a smooth cloth formed over foam flames. We purchased some samples from a auto upholstery supplier. I am using Wildwood contact cement - quart and rattle can spray.
