2021年4月19日 · I've been saving banana peels and egg shells for that. Leave the banana peels outside on concrete or bricks until the sun turns them black and crunchy. Then put them in a food processor or spice mill and grind them up into a powder. The same with egg shells. Then you can sprinkle them in and they will act like slow release fertilizers.

2022年7月15日 · An option is to plant Saleeb (UCR 271-1), which is a persistent caprifig, bag the figs to keep BFF and the wasp out, and hand pollinate with the pollen it produces. That way you would be in complete control of the process. Or forgot pollination altogether and focus on the best of the common fig varieties, which need no pollination.
