Always test the adhesives on a sample before using and if you are gluing foam into the Trek case you recently showed you will want to leave the case open after gluing the foam in to allow the adhesive to outgas and cure for several days as the fumes could have some negative effect on the case materials.

2011年5月4日 · hi guys, i just started working with EVA foam to build a couple sets of N7 armor. im having a real tough time of it. ive cut out half of the chest using my dremil to try and get the smoothest cut i can get without having to sand. after doing so i realized that i havent found anything anywhere on how to properly heat, bend and glue the foam.

I also suggest spray plasti over the brush on stuff. I have also heard the Guesso, (spelling) may work. It is used to flexibly seal canvas for painting.

Create a chamber for the magnet, and have the magnet pull towards its mate in the direction of that support, with the aluminum or what-have-you gripping the foam. It also has the added benefit of making it easy to slide the magnet off before pulling it away, reducing the stress on the glue.
