Best nature for Umbreon (well all Eeveelutions I guess)
Considering i'm hunting Eevee's and the movepool overhaul what would be the best nature for Umbreon and the other Eeveelutions? Was thinking Calm for Umbreon (considering Payback isn't in the game, otherwise I always run Careful) Timid for Espeon & Jolteon Modest for Sylveon and Glaceon But these 3 i'm not sure on yet Jolly for Leafeon Bold for ...

2010年3月14日 · The thing is that Umbreon doesn't get a special attack until Kanto, which is dark pulse, 80 base power, which is very good. But if I go for modest nature, all of johto with him will be horrible. I'm thinking of Hasty nature, because it give more speed and lowers his defense, which is his best stat so it wouldn't be that bad.

For Umbreon I would recommend Modest (Sp. Atk Up, Atk Down) or Calm (Sp. Def Up, Atk Down). Most of Umbreon's attacks are special and it won't outspeed most things even with Speed+ natures. 2010年1月23日 · the reason why the pokemon of the week umbreon guide says to go for sp. def nature is because you have curse which in turn with one usage already boosts your defense higher than your special defense. So it makes more sense to invest more into sp. def since your defense will be high depending on the number of curse usage.

2013年10月12日 · I think this is the best set for Umbreon Umbreon @ Leftovers Impish 252 Hp., 240 SpDef., 16Def Payback Wish Protect Toxic Umbreon has 110 base Def, hence the nature. 130 base SpDef. You can't leave it uninvested. This set can wall practically anything, and wear it down with Toxic. Or, you can heal a team mate with Wish and switch.

2008年11月1日 · Any of the Nature you said (Bold/Calm/Impish/Careful) will do. Umbreon in 3rd Gen should never have any offensive move, in 4th Gen there is Payback, but in 3rd Gen.....the only decent attack it can use is Faint Attack (or Crunch, if Umbreon can learn it), and they won't do a really impressive damage even if it is Super Effective.
