Solvent based contacts work, but they are not gap fillers. That leaves in my personal arsenal either a foaming polyurethane, or hot glue. Try tests with whatever you use, though.

FWIW, we glue lots of PP parts at work (speaker cones). Primer is the important part, also the surface can be treated with corona discharge to improve the bond.
