It doesn’t have the capabilities that the X requires, so I’m wondering what TV people are using to get the best out of this console. All the bells and whistles. Get an Xbox Series X (when I can find one) I'm limiting myself to about a 32" TV or gaming monitor based on my setup, and would want something 4k capable to get best results when I can eventually find a series x. 32" 4k tvs seem really expensive, but gaming monitors in that size seem pretty reasonable.

Xbox series X needs to be on HDMI 3 On your Samsung tv go into your settings and go to general, then from there go to external device manager. Make sure Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) selected while your at it you might want to turn on your HDMI UHD Color for your inputs. Now got to your receiver remote and select the set up button.

My 2 cents here, I got the Sony X90H for the Xbox Series X. It’s the TV that Sony marketed for the PS5 as being the perfect fit. Has 4K 120Hz compatibility (with HDMI 2.1) after the update last year and runs super smoothly on 4K 60 normally. Has HDR as well and the overall experience after a year is great. Uses android TV for what it’s worth.
