2024年10月24日 · I use those skull caps year 'round. By themselves until it gets cold, then under whatever wool hat or balaclava I use. Using a fresh one every ride means both my helmet and those not so fast drying wool hats stay far cleaner. What's left of my hair doesn't complain either. Saves the new acreage of skull from helmet hole sun spots.

2016年10月1日 · The helmet is such a small surface area compared to the rest of the body. Personal opinion is, a fluorescent helmet isn't going to do anything for visibility. The largest surface of a helmet , the top, is pretty much out of view of someone in a car. I would rock that camo helmet, it's awesome looking. I wouldn't for the ridiculous price though.

2017年7月6日 · I do most of the things in the post above this one. I fly a flag. I wear bright clothing. I always wear a helmet. I find using a mirror is absolutely essential. It makes it much easier to see what is behind you. I haven't encountered a bike lane that is not wide enough for my trike which is about 30" wide. I doubt you will either.

2024年10月28日 · I do not skimp on the light at night. Before every run, I aim all the lights so that they hit a 20' distant parked car at the hubcaps. If needed I can flick the helmet mounted light to pick up branches and other hazards that hover in mid-air, never at the cagers. IMO o.p. needs at least one light that is helmet mounted, and one that is not.
