If you manage to get Google play services installed, you can use the cast function from play store apps that actually support it, even on the Kindle fire tablet. Have never tested screen mirroring from Google home on the fire tablet. I could probably test it in half a day. Edit: I have a fire hd10 with Google play store installed.

2022年11月22日 · The Fires Stick 4k Max is a better device. Even for a 1080p TV you want to avoid the non 4k devices. The Fire TV remote is much better as you have stated and the device itself is going to be faster. Google went with a slower processor than on their 4k device. You can add a hub for all the things you mentioned also if you want.

2021年8月2日 · Sometimes things I want to watch aren't offered in 4k on the Fire TV but they are on the Apple device. This works both ways as well, sometimes I can't get the selection in 4k on Apple but can on the Fire TV. Just nice to have the option. As a real bonus my Fire TV remote actually will control my Apple TV for most functions.

2019年10月25日 · I'm using the Quest's 10.0+ firmware, 4K Firestick, and a FireTV app called "AirScreen - AirPlay & Google Cast & Miracast & DLNA" to get direct streaming from the Quest to the TV. No phone required. Can't speak to quality of stream until someone else puts on the headset, but I assume it's the same quality for all devices with 10.0+ firmware.

2020年12月4日 · The Fire TV Recast says its supported on any devices with Android v5 or above using the Fire TV app. The Chromecast has a newer version of Android so theoretically this would work. However I don't want to purchase one just to return it to get the Fire TV Recast working.
