My point is that if the machine frame was strong enough, you could literally hang a car off of the 20mm rails, and be well under their load limit. your machine will be operating at about 5% of the rated load limits of 20mm rails.

Better to put the weight into the machine bed vs the frame. Design it in two pieces A) The machine bed and B) the frame.

I read posts from several years ago that somebody built their own atc, but it had a few issues at speeds around 20k. Currently, I have a Hitachi router but would switch spindles for anything that works better with a ATC.

网页2019年3月22日 · Re: DIY CNC not cutting correct size. I think wizard has it right. Another thing you can do is cut the square and the circle forward and backward (clockwise and counterclockwise). If the two cuts are both off in opposite directions (mirror images), it will show any backlash in your axes. Posted via Mobile Device.
