Apr 23, 2019 · Actually, FT4 allows the operator the OPTION to select or not select the "auto" function. Manual QSO selection can still be controlled by "double clicking" on a decoded callsign. "One new on-screen control is available for FT4 operation, a button labeled Best S+P, just below the Call 1st checkbox.

Jan 29, 2024 · Please consider using SSB as the mode. That will fix the issue for future contacts. It is probably too much trouble to go back and edit the individual QSOs so it may be worthwhile to export an ADIF containing the FT4 and FT8 QSOs.

Aug 3, 2021 · FT4 and FT8 are operationally similar but use T/R cycles only 7.5 and 15 seconds long, respectively. MSK144 is designed for Meteor Scatter on the VHF bands. These modes offer enhanced message formats with support for nonstandard call signs and some popular contests. (The MSK in MSK144 stands for, Multiple Frequency Shift Keying.)
