2014年4月10日 · Re: grrrrrr!!! When I cut strips I used to have the same problem, until I purchased the June Taylor Shape Cut Plus Ruler. I have attached a YouTube Link so you can see a demonstration. The ruler she is using is 12 inches wide, I prefer the 18 inch Plus. One hint, make sure you have your fabric folded evenly, especially on the folds.

Interestingly, the Paul Brians' page no longer has the text quoted in this answer. The only thing it says now is "Since “revert” means “go back,” many people feel that “revert back” is a pointless redundancy. “Revert” all by itself is better." It might mean that the author had updated his point of view on the subject.
