2008年2月13日 · Quality boots are always a good investment, those ran me 250 bucks a pair, but I would have spent a small fortune on lesser quality boots in the same time period trying to keep dry and comfortable. Irish Setter is the sporting boot division of Red Wing, but unlike Red Wings, they are made overseas.

2008年10月20日 · I would go to Irish Setter first. Possibly go to their web site and write a letter about how disappointed you are with their product and would hope that they would resolve the issue. I am just curious if these are "defective" boots and if you wrote the letter, Irish Setter would "fess up" and possibly repair/replace the boots. Lundman

2019年11月24日 · on my fb feed, I get adds, like everyone does, but I have been seeing these adds for Irish Setter boots for 80% off. click on casual , work or hunting, and most are around $22- $28. but now I see muck boots are offering the same thing , 80%, again nothing over $30 .

2007年10月9日 · I am still wearing a pair of their boots that I bought about 5-6 years ago. I only wear them for hunting and they've held up fairly well. I think the next time I get some boots from them though, I'm sticking to a name brand that they carry (Danner, Rocky, Irish Setter). I tried on a pair of their rubber boots and they were garbage.

2019年12月10日 · Depends upon the use of the boot. Boots I know will spend most of the day in slush and briny water get Red Wing Naturseal to protect the leather and keep my feet dry. Boots get will get but a couple of ditch crossings and such in the course of the day, or just need moisturizing to keep the leather supple get mink oil with silicone.
