I have them and they are really nice. The large names like Kennametal, Collis, Briney, Lyndex, etc. carry them but cost is prohibitive for a Personal machine shop.

2021年2月17日 · I'm not sure about Kennametal directly. I'd probably call a distributor and ask for the datasheets (They will have them for sure). I know that Sandvik has easy to find data, and most brands are printed on the box. Even my import ones (Korea) have great data sheets.

2017年1月8日 · That bar is a SCLCR123 with a 3/4" shank. It takes a CCMT or CCGT 32.5X insert. For general use, a CCMT 32.51 insert with a 0.016" nose radius would work. Try searching ebay as this is a commonly available insert. Kennametal, Seco, Iscar, Valenite are good brands.

2023年8月19日 · I’m using mostly K5010 grades in the LF and UF chipbreakers. For aluminum inserts, I am very happy with Korloy H01 style inserts. I have bought some budget ones from www.latheinserts.com that work well, but I prefer the Kennametal and Korloy, they seem to perform a bit better. G.

With threading I have had good success with using the Carmex BMA lay down inserts, I typically take passes at 0.01" until close to target, then 0.005" and maybe a 0.002" and a single spring pass. Varies based on material, that is also a direct depth cut with the cross slide.
