A few days later, I try for myself to see if I could get there using a canoe. So far, I've had no luck. At the entrance to the swamp, there's a very low bridge, seemingly too low for anything to pass under. I've tried both types of canoes, and neither seem to be low enough to fit under the bridge.

Jul 25, 2022 · Agreed 100% the swamp has the best creepy atmosphere by far. I love Lakay, Lagras, and the whole swampy area. I grew up in Florida, but now live out West. And while the West is beautiful and I'll never move back to Florida again, I dearly miss the swamps and little rivers I grew up around.
