Mad rabbit is capitalizing on the fact that some ppl do not understand the concept of exfoliation and moisturization of a tattoo. Of course the tattoo and skin will look better once the dead layer is gone and the fresh new skin is well moisturized.

I use mad rabbit. I got it as a birthday present a few years ago and it works, but so does any other lotion, tattoo cream/salve. If I were you I wouldn't waste your money on it. The only reason that I use it is because it was a gift.

2023年3月6日 · On a smaller tattoo i may just use mad rabbit all the way but i think the hustle butter does a nice job making a protective layer similar to aquaphor. I normally put on aquaphor the night of the third and fourth day healing to really protect the peel in the first two days of it

2023年3月15日 · I don’t think the cream has any negative effect on healing as I have healed great each time after using it - I use their repair gel the first few days then switch to lotion and it’s been great. I have lots of colors going on with my psychedelic peony and while they heal unevenly, they do heal! Really happy with mad rabbit.

I'm sure it looks awesome :) my boss was giving me shit for even thinking of using numbing cream because he thinks "if you're gonna get a tattoo you should be willing to sit through the pain" but I honestly have no shame or qualms with the idea of numbing cream if it makes the experience better and the artist is on board, respect to you for riding it out without the cream

We personally don’t use hustle butter anymore since we’re a more progressive shop and they posted some stuff on their story we did support. So when we switched we felt mad rabbit was so much better about customer service and overall product. We signed up as ambassadors and they sent us a huge thank you gift of their balm and some merch.

2023年8月29日 · A lot of tattoo artists also don’t like it because most creams change the skin texture, make it harder to tattoo, can affect healing, and the pain can hit like a truck once it wears off. Moral of the story, don’t use numbing cream unless absolutely needed and TELL YOUR ARTIST if you come in wearing it.

2024年5月5日 · I've used the 4% lidocaine cream that comes in a blue tube on Amazon. It's branded as being for hemorrhoids, but imo the numbing creams that are branded as being specifically for tattoos are just an excuse to sell a tiny jar of the same cream for 4x the price.
