2021年11月28日 · The issue with the AC68U is when it is used as a router not a mesh node. WIFI settings on your XD6 - do use Dual Band SmartConnect and AX WIFI but set the Authentication Method to WPA2-Personal as the AC86U does not do WPA3. All the other WIFI settings leave to default. However, in time you may want to set the WIFI bands to fixed channels.

I’d like to move to a mesh system, but in a single SSID scenario, I’d have to reconfigure 30+ devices and I’m not yet willing to do so. Mostly Wi-Fi cameras. The new Wyze mesh system does have this capability, but it’s very new and there seems to be a lot of bugs in the system.

The Mesh is not connecting all my devices, I have 26 wifi devices, 8 are Nest Cameras. I need large coverage as my home is a ranch, about 4000 sq ft.
