2023年10月24日 · I get it, and I somewhat agree. But that scope weighs a lot. I had that same setup on my mini 30 but decided instead to install an as new Nikon 2x7 300 BO scope on it. Saves over half a pound of weight. On the mini 14, I installed a Vortex Ranger 1-4x LPVO, which is basically a reissue of the First generation Vortex Viper. I like that also.

2024年4月28日 · Well as a follow-up on my Mini 14 with the square mount and scope. I got acceptable accuracy from this set up. Under 2" groups at 100 yds, but the scope had issues. Found during sighting it in the scope had a broken windage adjustment. The knob wouldn't move the poi left or right. At 100yds the poi was 4" to the left.

2013年7月20日 · I had an older Bushnell scope (1.5x4) but just mounted a new Bushnell Banner 1.75 x 4.5 on the Mini and don't want it beat to death like the older scope. Also, I changed out the front sight to one of the modular units that combines the flash hider with the front sight.

2022年11月21日 · For 1" rings the suggestion of a Bushnell shotgun scope is a good one. I have a Bushnell Trophy XLT1.75-4x32 shotgun scope set up for my mini 14 in Ruger 1" rings. Ruger rings will come back to zero. It currently has a red dot on an Ultimak forward rail that replaces the hand guard. The forward rail will also accept a scout scope.

2013年2月21日 · I would scope the mini 14 with something modest and not too pricey if your eyes are not up for the iron sights. But keep your expectations reasonable. I am considering scoping my simply because my eyesight sucks. But I don't plan on much beyond 100 yards.
